Dental extractions are often necessary due to orthodontic treatment, severe tooth decay or gum disease, or to relieve dental pain. Regardless of the reason that dental extractions are required, a consultation can be scheduled to determine the best course of action for eliminating any potential source of infection and/or pain. At Park Dental we have experience removing teeth with little to no discomfort for the patient.
What about my Wisdom Teeth?
Wisdom teeth are the third set of adult molars that appear in the mouth, usually between the ages of 18-25. Sometimes a patient’s wisdom teeth may become impacted if there is not enough space to allow for proper dental eruption. These impacted molars can lead to swelling, pain, difficulty eating, and possibly damage to other healthy teeth. Many patients opt to have this extra set of teeth removed to relieve discomfort and to avoid possible dental infections. Please ask your Park Dental team about a consultation to determine if you may need your wisdom teeth extracted.
